Ms. Arora is an appointed Special Magistrate for the Florida Department of Revenue’s Value Adjustment Board serving Broward County for the past 5 years. As Special Magistrate, Ms. Arora presides over formal proceedings and adjudicates ad valorem tax controversies.

Ms. Arora is a Business Attorney serving as outside General Counsel representing and advising clients in complex corporate transactions for the past 14 years and with over 23 years of experience in the real estate industry. Ms. Arora's past legal experience and training has been at the Miami Dade City Attorney's Office's Civil Litigation Department, The Miami Dade State Attorney's Office's Felony Division, Kings County District Attorney's Homicide and Felony Division in New York, and The United Nations working on nuclear non-proliferation at the Headquarters in New York City.

Ms. Arora has lectured and authored published articles pertaining to various aspects of real estate development, tax matters, and asset protection strategies. She has also been featured and interviewed by leading global lifestyle and fashion designers regarding her style, involvement in the community, and contributions to her profession in such publications as the Sun-Sentinel Newspaper, Law360, Law.com, Texas Lawyer, Glamour Magazine, BU Today, American Kahani, and International Fashion Designer, Satya Paul.

Ms. Arora earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, where she studied Politics and Urban Design & Architecture Studies, graduating with distinction and honors. She also completed a minor in Journalism, and worked as a columnist for the Sun-Sentinel newspaper. Prior to entering the legal field, she worked in landmark and historic building preservation on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, focusing on architectural heritage and zoning regulations. During her time in New York City, she also volunteered as a museum docent at the Rubin Museum of Art.

Involved in her community, Ms. Arora holds the position as School Advisory Council Member for the Broward County School District and also supports various art and performing art institutions and charity events of South Florida.

Outside the office, Ms. Arora enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, attending the theatre and opera, and playing the piano. She is a classically trained singer and dancer with experience spanning from ballroom dancing to various forms of Indian dance. A former state-ranked junior tennis player in Florida, Ms. Arora was personally coached by tennis legend Chris Evert during her youth and maintains a lifelong love for English equestrian riding. Born in Detroit, Michigan, “Hockeytown”, and raised in South Florida, Ms. Arora has been an avid ice hockey fan throughout her life. She enjoys reading philosophy and history—particularly works that explore justice, ethics, and the nature of the human condition.

Ms. Arora is a member of The Florida Bar, the Administrative Law Section of The Florida Bar, National Association of Realtors, and Miami Association of Realtors.

Ms. Arora also speaks in Hindi, Urdu, Italian, Spanish, German, and Punjabi.
